Digital or Laser Printed?

Digital

Digital sheets will be emailed to you. You will print these yourself at home on your own printer, or, you can

save them to a disc, memory stick, etc. and take them to Staples, Kinko's or a place like that and have them printed for you.

Sheets are emailed in jpeg format within 24 hours of ordering, but usually much sooner. Most of my sheets can also be emailed to you

in png format for digital artwork. You must have some kind of digital editing software to use these kinds of files. If you aren't sure

if your software will accept and allow you to use png files, email me and I can send you a sample of a png file.

Laser Printed

Laser printed sheets will be printed using a laser printer by me, and mailed to your home address on file with paypal.

These sheets cost a bit more (.25 each)  due to the cost of ink, paper and handling.  There is also a 2.00 shipping charge for US customers, 2.25 for Canada

orders and a 4.00 shipping charge for all other International orders.

Printing Tips

The best paper to use when printing out your sheets at home depends on what you are making.

If you are making artist trading cards, use something thinner and easy to work with.  When using an ink jet printer, I recommend using Hammermill  paper, 28lb. This paper is made especially for printing color copies. There is a green apple on the front. It looks like this:

If you are making cards, or other heavier work, you may want to print on a thicker paper, such as card stock, or matte photo paper.

Remember when you print using your ink jet printer, the image will often smear if you use a sealer such as diamond glaze or mod podge. Letting your image dry for at least 2 hours helps, but doesn’t always prevent smearing.  Laser printing will prevent any smearing .

If you are using a laser printer, your paper will depend on your project. I use 28lb bright white paper, which is perfect for artist trading cards.

When taking your saved images to Staples, Office Max or Kinko's for laser printing. Make sure they use the paper you request to print.

When printing slides, charm, etc. You may want to save them as pdf files so that they get the perfect measurements. Have them print

the files from Adobe Acrobat.  Most printing places have this program and it will ensure your files come out to the correct size.
